HARC Board Appoints New President
A new leader is taking the helm at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC). Chairman of the Board Todd Mitchell, together with other directors, unanimously appointed Lisa Gonzalez President on June 9, 2016. Gonzalez, an expert on the management of water, coastal resources, and ecological communities, served as the Vice President for the past 4 years.

HARC Hosts Groundbreaking of New Headquarters
Local leaders and building partners joined together with HARC (Houston Advanced Research Center) board and staff on Tuesday to break ground on HARC’s $7M headquarters building.

The new HARC headquarters will be the first platinum LEED-certified building in the Woodlands with 18,000-square-feet of space to accommodate 50 staff members.

EFD Virtual Production Pad Site
HARC-EFD is adding a Production Pad to the EFD Virtual Site. The addition will be complete with the various equipment found on such a location. This includes stock tanks, separators, wellheads, and artificial lift. The Production Pad Site is being developed on the latest edition of gaming software and, like the Rig and Fracturing Site, will be interactive with several hotspots for users to experience.
