On Thursday, October 17th HARC’s building and campus received the LEED Project of the Year at the US Green Building Council’s Texas Chapter Building Energy Summit.
HARC’s New Home: A Vision of Sustainability Realized
As a result of beginning with the end in mind, HARC's headquarters is on track to achieving a Platinum Level Leaders in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification - making it the first LEED Platinum green building in The Woodlands, Texas. Platinum is the most environmentally stringent LEED certification issued by the U.S Green Building Council. On Thursday, June 27 HARC building and campus were awarded the Project of the Year from the USGBC Chapter Leadership Awards.
HARC President and CEO, Lisa Gonzalez, will join a distinguished panel to lead a learning session at the Greenbuild 2018 International Conference and Expo in Chicago, Illinois on Friday, November 16th.
On July 25, Dr. Mustapha Beydoun, HARC’s Vice-President, presented at the U.S. Green Building Council Gulf Coast Chapter LEED Platinum Evening event.
