Rich Haut Elected to Serve on Texas A&M University-Kingsville EFCREO Board of Directors
The Texas A&M University Systems has established the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Eagle Ford Center for Research, Education and Outreach (EFCREO) and has selected Dr. Rich Haut, Program Director, Energy Production and the Environmentally Friendly Drilling Systems, at the Houston Advanced Research Center (HARC) to serve on their Board of Directors. At their Board Meeting January, 29, 2014 he was elected to the Executive Committee of that Board.
The EFCREO focuses on promoting efficient sustainable development and aims to bring together industry and communities affected by the Eagle Ford shale development to address a broad spectrum of issues ranging from roads and transportation to oil and gas recovery and production to educational and environmental concerns. Six areas of research will be organized including oil/gas production enhancement, condensate refining process improvement, environmental technology and impacts analysis, sustainable transportation control and development, sustainable community development and planning and public health monitoring.
