HARC and EEB Houston to host ICP webinar September 17
Matt Golden, with the Investor Confidence Project (ICP), will be conducting a webinar to discuss how building owners and operators can use the new ICP project development protocols to develop investor ready projects. The ICP, a project of the Environmental Defense Fund, defines a clear road-map from retrofit opportunity to reliable Investor Ready Energy Efficiency™. With a suite of Commercial and Multifamily Energy Performance Protocols in place, ICP reduces transaction costs by assembling existing standards and practices into a consistent and transparent process that promotes efficient markets by increasing confidence in energy efficiency as a demand-side resource. Matt will also discuss how you can become an ICP Credentialed Quality Assurance Provider for energy efficiency projects.
Webinar hosted by the Energy Efficiency in Buildings Houston (EEB Houston) Project. EEB Houston is a project led by HARC and the WBCSD to help drive greater investment in energy efficiency in the Houston market. The private-sector led initiative began last year and is actively working with over 50 stakeholders to drive change in the market by increasing building owner and operator understanding and knowledge of energy efficiency in their buildings and the co-benefits that come from their investment decisions. More information on this initiative and HARC’s role can be found here.
