Ryan Bare and Qian Song to present “Riparian Corridors: A Basin Scale Perspective on the Houston-Galveston Regions Green Infrastructure”
Ryan Bare and Qian Song will attend the 2019 Esri User Conference and give a presentation on “Riparian Corridors: A Basin Scale Perspective on the Houston-Galveston Regions Green Infrastructure”. Riparian corridors provide environmental, ecological, community and economic benefits in the Houston-Galveston region. Conserving riparian corridors ensures that these benefits will be available for future generations. The presentation will cover the benefits of riparian corridors, the development of a geospatial tool to identify high priority riparian conservation tracts, and a provide a user case to demonstrate the conservation planning tool’s functionality.
